Wheel Rim Load Rating & Will this wheel fit ?
Hello Everyone, my first post
Having just joined the Disco club and bought a 2006 D3 V8 HSE I have been studiously reading many of your posts, which have been of great help (thanks), especially around winter tyres and understanding the sizes/profile/rim size/load rating and speed rating etc
Whilst I was initially going to just change my tyres for the winter and put some 255/55 R19 111 V winter tyres on my current and original rims, then I came upon some Land Rover rims and tyres that had a similar width and profile but were on 18 inch rims and thought (naively) they will do nicely.
However I now from further reading on the forum understand they may not do nicely at all as a) they may not have a circa 940kg load rating needed for the D3 and may not fit the 2006 D3 V8 hub. As I am not sure what Land Rover model the wheels came from or where to find out the load rating, could anyone help please ? I have hopefully put a picture of the wheel below.
Thanks
Simon

They look like D2 rims, I'm pretty sure they won't fit.
D2 or P38 rims. The PCD is the same, however there are differences in offset and also the centre bore diameter.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Thanks chaps
What are P38 rims ?
Frustrating as I thought I had got myself 5 nice umarked Land Rover 18 inch winter tyre rims for my D3 - with some Michelin summer tyres on them with 5mm left as a bonus.
All part of the learning process I suppose - I'll eBay them and start the search for 19 inch D3 V8 suitable rims for some winter tyres - any ideas where to look ?

P38 = 2nd gen FFRR.
Looks like these D2 rims, I had them on my old D2.

One more question please chaps - On the 'rims/alloys for the D3' link will the 09MY standard HSE alloys picture shown (from a D4 ?) fit my D3 V8 due to the larger brakes on the V8 ?
