Nice Phil. Can you post a photo of them at night time?
Keen to see quite how bright they are. There's a fine line between the nice clear white numberplate lights on Mercedez and Audi's and the tacky ones you see on a larged-exhausted saxo outside the ice-rink Luke

Been thinking of buying a pair of the number plate illuminating led units too but also have a concern about them looking too "chav bling".
I'm sick to death of the led bulbs I have in there, dropping out after a few closings of the tailgate. I even had one half in and half out of the bulb holder that kept blowing the left hand lights fuse.
Philby, do you have a picture showing the whole of the rear of the car with the plate lit please?Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails

Odd this should get bumped as I bought the Powerful replacement units only last night.
Bulbs or LED's are not an option as they fall out of the holders after the tailgate has been closed a few times. Mods:
