Problem started months ago : LHFD [driver-] door did not lock with remote. So I locked manually, then closed the door and locked remote [ once]. After some time, my chidren opened de RDFD, before me unlocking it, so the alarm went off. Door wasn't locked for [ who knows..] some time.
So before I read on the forum about an aftermarket 'white lever' to replace inside the lock to fix the problem. I told this to the engineer at the dealers and he asked me for the link as they normally just swap locks. Time to dear to fiddle around.
Now : I can not find the thread anymore. [ solved: actually is the thread above..].
So I looked on youtube and to my surprise found an item about a white lever that was broken in the lock so it wouldn't lock. This guy just analysed the problem and found the cheapest repair ever : bend the other end of the metal lever. And it works...
