Secondary grille on Face-lifted car (DIY Job)
I have a facelift grille on my D3 but always felt it didn't give enough protection for any flying stones. I finally got round to adding a mesh behind it to help on that, after some thought and rummaging in the shed I found some stainless mesh that is used for forming plaster.
All it needed was cutting with tin snips and it held its self on with its own sharpness on some of the plastic protrusions. Its evil shape though an even cut though the gloves I was waring into my hand so be carful if you use this.
