Hydro Hotel - Windemere

Just wanted to say thank you to Joe (patoir on here) and the team for a fantastic couple of days in their fantastic hotel.

Warm welcome, great views, great food and ales!!

Highly recommended for a short break or a week away.

Smack in the centre of the town but peaceful and calm if that's what you want.

Gosh - the Hydro. I used to go to a conference there every November. It had shabby charm in those days but looks like it has had a good spruce up since then. As npinks says - one for the memory banks, especially being dog-friendly.

The great thing about The Lakes in November is that you have the place to yourself. If you don't dissolve...
