Left and right cylinder bank imbalance
My TDV6 (EU3) has all new Siemens injectors which I installed about 3 months ago. Prior to the new injectors, the compensation values were all over the place but the left and right bank of cylinders were similar.
When I check the compensation values of my new injectors with my IID, I'm getting differing levels on the two banks.
Injectors 1,3,5 (right bank) are all close to 1200
Injectors 2,4,6 ( left bank) are all close to 800
I'm getting no relevant fault codes. There's no signs of a head gasket failure (coolant clear, no scum under oil cap or on dipstick).
Clearly something isn't right here although the engine is running fine. Could this be a problems with a sensor somewhere? Any pointers?

Thought I'd just check out cold injector values. This is what I got.
I also found the following error codes:
P0404-00 (2F) Exhaust gas recirculation control - circuit range/performance
P029E-00 (28) Cylinder 2 balance - fuel trim at maximum limit
P121A-00 (68) Cylinder balance – injector restricted
P02A7-00 (28) Cylinder 4 balance - fuel trim at minimum limit
P029A-00 (28) Cylinder 1 balance - fuel trim at maximum limit
EGRs are blanked, by the way.

Seems odd that all 3 injectors are reading high on the same bank
I wonder if it would be worth checking the cam timing? How long ago was the belt replaced? My D3 Build Thread

All the injectors are new so I'm hoping they're not faulty. Do you think there would be any merit in swapping a couple of injectors around, say injector 1 and 2 and seeing what happens?
I hadn't considered the timing at all. I have a receipt for a belt replacement about 40k miles ago. It was done before I owned the car. Looks like a local general garage, not a LR specialist. I could be tempted to do a DIY replacement on the timing belt if you think it might help? Are you thinking the belt might be a tooth out?
I really appreciate your advice on this.
One more thing, I don't know if this would be relevant to timing problems. I do get some white smoke on cold starts for the first couple of minutes. Not glow plugs (all working), shouldn't be injectors (as they're new).
Thanks again.

New injectors shouldn't give issues, but it's always a possibility
For one bank only to be out, I do wonder if one of the cams is a tooth out...My D3 Build Thread
It could be a cam chain tensioner problem on one bank. On my EU3 engine (140k miles) the lower fixed nylon guide broke up and most of the bits ended up in the sump. There is enough travel on the sprung top nylon guide to still tension the chain and for the engine to continue running okay.
One cam out of time = lower compression on that bank = injector trim offset between the two banks.
Its a easy job to take the sump of to check for the bits.
I will post a picture of the guide / bits in a few days
Here is a picture of my cam chain tensioners. Left one is okay, the nylon guide clips on to the centre section. On the right one the nylon guide broke up then the chain wore through the casting exposing the oil way. The engine ran okay but had a top end rattle for a few seconds on start up. All okay now

You can remove the inlet cams to change the tensioners with the body on but to change the chains as well would probably mean body off.
The chains would require exhaust cams, vac pump, hpfp belt, cam belt plus their sprockets to come off.
Starts to get expensive or time consuming.
I have just bought an IId tool and checked my injector offsets. All good now.
