I use it on every second fill on the MY10 - when I remember LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Does it make a difference to real life MPG? I use it most fills but I'm pretty sure it's not making a while lot of difference. My mpg is so variable just due to different driving styles (lots of short trips in town then lots of motorway..) it's hard to tell if the Ecomax makes any differenceD1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone
D4 2012 SDV6 XS - Stolen
D4 2014 SDV6 HSE - Shiny
I believe it does, but it maybe wishful thinking. It definitely does help when we add it to supermarket fuel, but not sure with premium brands fuels which is what we tend to use due to the fact we've found the saving on price is usually eradicated by the poor mpg when we fill up at the Tesco near us.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I use it and it does feel as though it makes a difference. Or could be just a placebo effect!

Would it not be easier to simply use Premium fuel with addatives already present?

Been using consistently for about 18 months following the demise of Actevo 2SO
Maybe placebo, maybe not, but seems smoother running
I have used it on every 2nd or 3rd fill in my Galaxy over the past 3 years, we have now done 311,000 happy miles together and never had new injectors, HP fuel pump or anything fuel related just change oil and both filters (oil and fuel) every 10 to 11000 miles. Sadly our happy marriage will be coming to an end soon as I now fancy a younger model. Its that mid life crisis thing The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.
