| WANTED: Price for a new MAF sensor Please |

Anyone got a New MAF sensor they want to sell me ??
Or is there anyone out there from a parts point of view with one sitting on thier shelf at the dealers with a price ??
Mines gone a wee bit wrong and I've been quoted £120+vat + fitting  Disco 3 TDV6 SE, black, de-badged, blacked out windows, cream leather interior, never seen a dirt track in its life.

Fitting is a screwdriver and 2 minutes.
Try TLO for the best price for a genuine one or fleabay for an aftermarket.

Im sure TLO said it was cheaper to buy the whole intake with the sensor in it for some reason!

Think that was for the MAP sensor which comes with the Y-shaped pipes, but yes it is bizarre!

£120 seems about right from memory, I assume its just a plug in and play situation then guys?

Map sensor is
1316126 £133.22
the whole air manifold with the sensor is only £115.28

sat ere with a unopened mas sensor, would I be right to imagine just unscrew old one and plug in new one?

The Cables have been repaired yesterday and the fault comes back after being cleared as the MAf sensor.
Spoke to the guy who sold me the car and he's ordered one with no quibbles and is happy to fit it for me, even though I told him I found the wires crushed and got them repaired yesterday.
Most genuine second hand car dealer I've ever dealt with !!! Disco 3 TDV6 SE, black, de-badged, blacked out windows, cream leather interior, never seen a dirt track in its life.

It is. Lets just hope she still does 30mpg with the new sensor fitted !
