So guys a little help! So I changed my discs and pads about a year ago after there life came to and end I'm sensible and don't hammer the breaking it's always light breaking ect but recently I've noticed that when i break now I'm getting lots of feedback through the steering wheel! I find this odd because about 8 month ago I had the bushes at the front end with wish bones replaced also! It also got the wheels balanced and the tracking sorted now this? I'm thinking it's the track rods but any advice? It's still under warranty but don't want to risk putting it in if they don't find anything to pay the £90 an hour fault finding fee (must be dick Turpin doing it) for them to find nothing wrong
Any help or ideas appreciated God created heavy armour on 06 sept 1916, on the 7th the devil stood to attention!

I'm not sure if this will help at all, but are you confident that the discs are ok? I only ask as I had a new set fitted under warranty (no doubt they were cheap) and had to replace after about 6k miles as one side had warped (calipers operating ok, and like you, we're not heavy on the brakes).

OEM discs have a tendency to warp or get uneven braking material on them. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I got my disc and pads from advanced factors there a very high top quality brand so can't see it been the discs? How would I check to see if they are warped? God created heavy armour on 06 sept 1916, on the 7th the devil stood to attention!

Someone once told me if you do a lot of braking from speed then sit holding the vehicle on the brakes then this can increase the chance of warping as the portion of disc being held by the pads stays hotter than the rest, then when you set off it cools, only a slight warp in the discs will encourage it to stop in the same place if it can and then a repeat of the above compounds the problem
Just an opinion but may explain it a bit

When decending a steep hill and stopping at the bottom I don't hold it on the brake pedal or move slightly forward. Especially if I have the tin tent on the back.

Had similar recently, turned out to be a sticking rear caliper. Stamped on the brakes a couple of times and it has cured it but I need to strip to see if it's the sliders or the piston. De-Tango

If the problem is really bad then get Marcus from discskimmers on the job.
I recommend him 100% and many dealers use him too.
He is well known in the performance Audi world that I lurk in too.

Some distance from you but he'll diagnose and sort the problem.
