Lower front door plastic trim removal |
|
Hi All,
I'm trying to take the front door plastic trim off - the one at the bottom of the door on the outside.
The middle bit of it comes away from the yellow/white fastners but it seems the extreme front and rear of the trim is held on tight.
Do i have to shove it forwards / backwards or is it a case of pull harder?
(feels like it will break if i pull harder so am guessing i need to slide it but don't know if forwards or backwards).
I'm only taking it off as the middle fastners don't hold tight so want to replace them all.
Thanks,
Mike.

Pull harder at the bottom of the trim and it will come off.

Thanks - got it off. Seems the front and rear bits are held on by different fastners (one piece fastners that break off rather than separate).
Just need to find some replacements for the end bits now.

Hi,
My offside lower front door trim fell off last night because half of the fasteners are broken. Whilst the front half seems pretty tight, I don't want to lose it while out driving. Can anyone tell me where I can get those fasteners, if possible?
Merry Xmas!
