Webasto diagnostic app now on google play |
|
I was looking to buy the cable from the shop to talk to my heater as it seems very reluctant to start even when cold.
I noticed that you have to connect it to a windows laptop via an OBD to usb plug, however my OBD plug is Bluetooth and laptop isn't!
Now I wondering if anybody has used the app on google play called TechWebasto Mobile App?
and is this app and my Bluetooth OBD plug compatible? ........

Hi Flapper,
The app s just a compendium of text files. There is no function like a data interface, nor the chance to read or translate error codes.
Got myself an altox wbus5.
When using the the mobile app, You can read the current status, like water temp, voltage, strengh of the gsm signal, etc. In case of of errors, they are mentioned there, aswell as an offer to go to have a look to a list of errors to translate them....
And
You can use this tools to delete these errors.
An quite happy with it...ts'been discussed here in different threads

The correct USB to OBD adapter is £5 ... significantly cheaper than an Altox! 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!
