2014 d4 cambelt change.
Hi All,
My 2014 d4 is due a cambelt change soon (its on 107k), i did the one on my old d3 myself years ago (although didnt do the pump belt) and have the locking tools for the d3. Anyone know whats involved or anyone here local to me want (or know anyone) the job as I'm quite busy at the moment with work?

You may get a few more answers if you narrow your location down a bit from 'U.K.' D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership

Ok Ive had some quotes to replace cambelt and HP belt which are more than I can afford just now so am going to tackle this myself. I'm happy to leave the rear belt but does anyone know if the rear belt needs re-setting when the front belt is changed? Of course if this is the case the it may as well be changed. Also anyone know of where to get the rear setting tool if thats the case?
To add if anyone ever wants to borrow the locking set locally then just pm as its only sat in the toolbox.

Landrover were approx £1400 but was full service as well, local specialist was £500 ish but was just front belt (hence the question above about setting rear pump belt timing as I wanted to check this needed to be done or not since if it does then may as well replace the rear belt at the same time).
I'm quite happy to do it myself if needs be but dont want to do it and find out after the pump timings out and I dont have the tool to do it!

I've read the rear belt requires timing to the engine/ new front belt on the D4 unlike the D3. Cheapest main dealer price I received was £1099 inc the serviceMark
