Automatic gearbox
Hi, please could anyone give me some advice on where to take my D3 TDV6 to have the auto gearbox looked at and not have my pants pulled down in the process ? I have had the torque convertor recondition about 2 years ago now, a flush and new filter, due to gear selection being all over the place and lurching about 2 weeks after, once that had been done it seemed to resolve it....
Now the dreaded shuddering/juddering has seemed to have reared its ugly head, which seems to be more prominent in third gear going about 25-35mph in auto, when placed into sport/manual mode you don't seem to get the juddering. I have drained the gearbox twice in two weeks from the bottom of the gearbox as I have a metal sump pan with easy access drain plug, but to no avail.
Any advice on how to prevent judder or a garage in the Northamptonshire area that can help would be greatly appreciated

A1 in Biggleswade have just refurbed my transmission and fitted a new torque converter...Previously owned an '08 D3 HSE in Stornoway grey but jumped ship to see what the Swedes have to offer.

Please could you let me know a rough idea for cost to have the gearbox refurbished and new torque converter to give me an idea if it's worthwhile having the trek over ?

The invoice from A1 was for £2,319 Previously owned an '08 D3 HSE in Stornoway grey but jumped ship to see what the Swedes have to offer.

hey I just saw your thread and I'm also (sometimes) starting to get a shuddering when I try to accelerate, and also don't seem to be getting it in SPORT mode.
could it need a gearbox/oil change/flush or could it be a sign for something worse
