Do you mean like this?
It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

The stalks are plug and play and are a definite improvement, they have slightly different(improved) response to the originals along with improved 3 flash indicators if you have them enabled. When operating wash wipe for instance the wash front or rear comes on before the wipers. They also have a chrome tip which you can't see in the photos.
Geof. (With a dot) did have some a while back It can when others can't,

3 minute job to take the wheel off, no Iid tool needed unless you want 3 flash indicators enabling, the stalks fit on the wheel, I can't remember if it is necessary to take the wheel off, I obviously took mine off.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,

So do you have the rear wash on the rotary end and pull towards you for front wash? Or is hay just on MY16 versions etc?

I think so, daft as it sounds you tend to use them without thinking, definitely pull for front, I will check tomorrow.
Rotary lower down to select sensivity for auto, and time delay for rear.
Edit: looking at the photo below the answer is yes.

That is one reason I changed mine, with the old type switches three flash was almost dangerous as I just did not have the same control, from headlights flashing when I didn't want them, to indicators working permanent, then trying to stop them and indicating opposite side, I actually disabled them at one time, with the new switches no problem - great improvement
Geof. Even advised me to change them to cure this and good advice it was.It can when others can't,
