EPB fault- same but different! |
|
Hi all. Having a few gremlins with the EPB. Had the amber light on a few days ago, so put my code reader in, and it gave me this
C1A48 - Warning lamp circuit, signal lamp connection failure
So, after a bit of googling/searching, i found the 2 connector blocks on the NSR wheel arch. Opened them up, and all looks well inside. However here comes the odd bit. The amber light is visible, but the epb works fine, doesnt screech, and the light works when it is applied. It had a new control module on about 18 months ago. I did leave my reader on while i operated the epb, and saw that on occasion ( maybe 1 in 10) it didnt display the swich position when i was operating it.
Anybody any ideas on where to proceed from here? i managed to find the wiring pdf on here and it shows a single green cable from the module to the dash, but i couldnt find that one.
Disco is a '58 diesel auto.
edit: checked all the bulbs out too. All working
thanks

would the brake lights be stuck on all the time (or not work at all) if the switch went?
