Right I suffer from a little OCD, or as I like to call it CDO, its the same condition, just in alphabetical order. so it bothers me when something simple don't work.
I have an issue with my spot lights not turning on but I think there is a loose connection somewhere as I have already changed the working bulbs for another set of working bulbs, but I cant seem to find power. not sure how to explain this but when I did get one to work the car was in an off road setting (cant remember what one) but now its not, not getting power to anything, I suppose what I'm asking is does the car have to be in a off road position, if so what one ?
I hope thats understandable.

Thanx for your help it seems i have really bad waterproof conectors to the lights themselves. Seems water has got in and corroded them, so when i have a bit of time and some daylight gonna clip em off and see if that resolves the problem....... must try and remember to buy new connectors first

Thanx, looks really good but I gotta get them working first, I ordered a new relay today coz I dont know how to check the one I have works and I cant find a wiring diagram to how its wired up.
I have replaced the wires into the lights with good wire now, and unplugged the relay, connected the wires to the battery to where the relay goes and the lights come on so at least I now know that at least that section works ok.
So once I have the relay will see if that helps, ive not checked the switch yet for 2 reasons, firstly I dont know what wire is the switch wire and I dont know how to get the switch out
Oh Im great and being a machanic
so for this reason Ive decided to get it fixed under warranty if the relay does not correct the problem, its gotta go back any way as I've developed another leak in the rear aircon pipe

Well it ended up being faulty relays, the kit came as an after market thing with a nudge type bar from Landrover, they do no list the components. Its Jaguar that make the relay and turns out you cant buy it from a landrover spares shop, or a car spares shop where I live, Found a pair on a auction site though for a few quid and the lights now work.
