Pulling left: worn lower bushes? |

Hi
Long story short my car 2008 with 78K has been pulling left for some time.
Had full laser alignment and it felt great for a couple of weeks. Put a full new set of Pirelli ATR on and it felt terrible again, pulling left.
I dont want to scrub the new tyres and am tired of feeling like I am wrestling with it.
As I was passing at lunchtime I called in to local KwikFit and asked them to swap front wheels right to left and vice versa out of desperation as I have had it mentioned before that it may help.
They declined saying they would do front to back only. To be fair to them, he then checked all the tyre pressures and then jacked it up to check the wishbones etc.
He showed me there is a bit of play in the front right lower bush. Didn't try to sell me anything, just said it might be something to go on.... I do also have a small knock from front right when braking hard so I know this is wearing.
Could this be the route cause?
Re bushes/arms etc... whats the recommended approach? Change arms and bushes together? All lower at once, or all upper and lower?
Any advice welcome as its really teeing me off now.

The uppers very rarely fail or wear out, so just the bottoms might be the way to go, but also consider if the rear upper arms are worn this could also cause your car to pull as well. Get the rear uppers checked to see if they are worn.

Thanks, I will look to get the rear uppers checked.
Just to ask, could the worn front lower be the reason for it pulling?

I dont think so, its normally a sticking brake caliper, or bad tracking/wheel alignment, hence my suggestion to check the rear upper arms.

Hi,
I have exact same.
I have had both front lower wishbones and both uppers changed. Followed this by 4 wheel alignment at main dealers and its still pulling to the left
Any thoughts welcome Belts, oil pump casing and water pump by Flack

My car was pulling to the left and it was found to be a worn left rear upper arm bush.
Because the car was pulling to left, I had to steer slightly to the right to get the car to go in a straight line.
This caused extra wear on the inside of my front right tyre, making it go slightly bald on the inside edge.
The rear left wheel could be easily be moved in and out when holding it from the top of the tyre, with the car raised
It was the front bush of the left rear upper arm that was knackered
(I put super-pro bushes in the front of the new rear upper arms - they don't make them for the rear of the rear upper arms apparently)
Funnily enough, I didn't get any extra wear on the rear left tyre
The rear arms were replaced and I then had alignment done
This cured my problem

Resurrecting this.
After lower arms done and multiple alignments since it is still pulling and now slightly scuffing both fronts and left rear.
Going in for rear uppers tomorrow. Hoping this will resolve it
