Brake pads

I need to replace the real pads but might also do the front while I'm on. Depending on ware.
Any recommendations for pads.

Advanced Factors have a good range, I used Borg and Beck which were good, although perhaps a little more dust than OEM, but they have a range.

I've recently put a set of Mintex on the rear of my car. I chose these, as I had them on my previous D2 for quite some time before I sold it and found them to be 'clean' i.e. low on dust and at £22 delivered, a decent price too.

I can assure you, Mintex are not low dust pads, unless you opt for the ceramic versions, which they don't produce for D3/4 Thumbs Up

They most certainly are not ceramic, but I can assure you they are very clean! Both on my old D2 and now this one, so much so, that when the fronts need pads they will be mintex too. Thumbs Up

Sorry, but I've tried a few different ones, and always go back to OEM. Same as disks.

I just prefer them - no idea why, just do - but each to their own Thumbs Up

Until recently I only ever fitted the OEM Ferrado pads. But that has changed with the new low-dust TRW pads - they are excellent in all regards and worth the extra money.

Get mine from AF too.

Thumbs Up
