3 Faults
Well, certainly tempted fate yesterday by saying 'D3 IS FINE AT THE MO'
So, travelling up the M1 yesterday, doing about 70mph, accelerates to pass a truck and lo and behold.....
Gearbox Fault, gears available
Suspension in low height
Park brake fault
First of all, shat one's pants! lane 3 M1 Nth, Friday afternoon and D3 in Limp Mode...
Managed to get off (no hard shoulder on this particular section) and turn off, wait 30 secs and restarted. No probs at all, everything had reset and continued with journey.
Drove from Sheffield to Sutton in Ashfield without a fault, tried it in sport mode and normal, no faults whatsoever, smooth as...
Anybody shed any light or anyone selling an IID Tool??
Thanks All"I'd like to agree with you.....but then we'd both be wrong!

Don't know for sure, but as you were accelerating when it went, I'd check the intercooler hoses for splits & check the turbo actuator is moving freely enough. There's loads on here about both of them, but if either of them aren't right you can system faults. Might also be worth checking the alternator is working correctly
Good luck

Turbo on mine when I had those faults so check what Landie71 says.
On an unrelated matter, did you manage to change your sat nav disc, Pete?

Called round to see Pete this morning and read his fault codes, results pasted below. The fault in the original post was about 40 miles ago at about 80100 miles I think. The only code from about the right milage is the siren circuit.
I cleared all of the faults and re-read. Only one fault left which was no pressure on his aircon. Nothing to suggest why the car went into limp mode.
The only other thing I could check was battery and charging voltages. Forgot to take the battery voltage before I started, but after leaving it without the engine running for about 10 minutes it was reading 12.40v. Upon starting the engine, the reading changed to 14.38v. At no point did it rise to the usual 15.3v I see when I start mine. I'm wondering if he has an alternator or battery fault?
Any comments from those more knowledgable than me?
