You can, I stream to my 06MY S D3 from my iPhone via BT most days. But I have the iPod kit (ACM) and widget (Layden iDock 450?) that plugs into that. Easy.

I stand corrected. Although I thought you meant without adding any extra bits.
Am I right in saying as standard you cannot stream music through Bluetooth?

You are correct Ja92mie,
The correct answer to Ops question is not unless you use additional equipment. I have a bluetooth receiver that plugs into the Aux in socket and you can pair the phone with that and the car's bluetooth at the same time.==================================

Bluetooth has many different profiles - to support telephony and audio playback requires the BT device to support those two profiles. It's not unusual that only telephony is supported, particularly on cars of the D3's vintage. Only relatively recently has the A2DP profile become commonplace in car audio (particularly OEM and LR were probably not at the forefront back then).
