Thinking of buyig disco 4 commercial

Am thinking of getting a approx 2011 d4 commercial
Most have done arround 100k is there anything i need to worry abput with mileage as ill be putting plenty on it and towing hard with it
I had a d3 but had to get rid at 350k as whilst it never let me down was slipping on gesrbox so i swapped fpr isuzu then hilux but thinking pf coming back to d4
Any advoce would be appreciated

2012 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Baltic Blue

8sp auto is generally preferred for smoothness. Service history helpful. Probably fixed towbar if towing a lot. Consider whether Approved Used gives you peace of mind, or save a few £ and buy privately but maybe get an expert to check it over.

thanks for help ive bought a 2012 one last week cant wait for it to come i drove it and new it was car for me 99k with FLRSH will get Belts done next week and needs a better tow bar as thoughose swan necks dont look up to much

As soon as you get it you want to contact your local dealer and see if the VIN number needs the tow bar checking

If it does tell them you do a lot of towing and it will probably get upgraded free of charge, a couple of people I know have had there's checked and on collection found a new multi height fixed bar fitted FOC

thanks ill do that so there was a recall on the tow bar i presume i just dont like the look of them anyway for what i tow
