the ones that came off were the original new car ones 23k miles...so if the next set get similar miles im happy

Fair enough. Mine have been rubbish since car was new and they were the same on my Sport. Maybe I've had bad luck.

Buy Bosch or Goodyear, they are cheaper than from the dealer. I got a pair of Good year for $15.

I got a rear LR one for £15.00. Then the front ones needed replaced and I couldn't face going to the dealer. I was in Halfords (I know, I know) and so I picked a pair of theirs up. £25.00, so half price I guess.

They even fitted them. The young lad came out and I immediately thought this might not be a good idea when he made conversation saying "Nice car. I bet it does good mileage too. You'll get around 45MPG will you?" But what can go wrong putting wipers on? Nothing as it turned out.

So far, they're okay.
