Keyless Door Locking Issues

Since last week when I close the door and lock using the keyless button on the handles (any door handles)my D4 the mirrors have stopped folding. I get 2 beeps and flashes of the lights, its not all the time maybe 2 in 5 attempts. I'm worried about it being locked properly Confused

Any ideas?

Looks like a hard fault with either the actuator or the door jam loom.

It's under warranty ..... Is it a big job or parts swap?

A fiddly job for the door actuator or a simpler but slightly longer job to replace the loom.

My MY14 has started to do the exact some thing recently. That and an occasional blast of cooled air from the vents despite it being cold outside and an occasional change of feel to the brake pedal, suddenly very hard and sharp and then feels like the brakes are stuck on, suspect something to do with hill start assist.... The start of electrical gremlins?

I hope this isn't the start of things to come Confused

Have you had any of the faults repaired yet or are you saving them up?

Last week I had a menu of faults, most of which haven't come back (yet)...

Using my IIDTool BT V3.0 B2060 (Handy if you want to know the truth) Wink

ABS-Brake Module
• U3003-62 (28) Battery voltage - Algorithm based failure - signal compare failure
( on 15-12-2015 20:00:10 at 93931 km )
ACM-Audio System
• U0166-00 (68) Lost communication with auxiliary heater control module
( on 27-01-2016 19:40:16 at 94889 km )
DDM-Driver Door
• B10EB-11 (68) Driver's door double locking motor - General electrical failure - circuit short to ground
( on 22-01-2016 20:12:06 at 94842 km )
• B1108-11 (28) Driver's door central locking motor - General electrical failure - circuit short to ground
( on 22-01-2016 20:12:06 at 94842 km )
HCMB-Headlamp
• U0415-00 (28) Invalid data received from ABS control module
HVAC-Ventilation
• B11FF-84 (28) Air conditioning refrigerant pressure - Bus signal/message failure - signal is below allowable range
( on 20-01-2016 07:43:30 at 94586 km )
IPC-Instrument Pack
• B1A85-96 (28) Ambient light sensor circuit - Component failure - internal failure
( on 19-10-2015 19:22:42 at 91614 km )
TCM-Transmission 6spd
• P0826-62 (69) Up and down switch input circuit - Algorithm based failure - signal compare failure
( on 08-10-2009 09:44:44 at 16777215 km )

These two faults have been there forever but the door lock faults haven't shown up but are still there Neutral

ACM-Audio System
• U0166-00 (68) Lost communication with auxiliary heater control module

MY10 used to conk out on roundabouts and sometimes at junctions... It was a faulty brake pedal switch and me accidently touching the brake pedal with the edge of my foot - didn't even know I was doing it - MAD Rolling Eyes
