iid tool newbie
Hi i have an iid tool and a new ipad linked to it,is there somebody who could show me how to use it please,on a discovery 3 2005 diesel i am in hemel hempstead and can easily travel a reasonable distance to you, i have posted this but lost it in the website as i find this site so big, i have also posted on the other discovery club jeff=bones1.

iid tool newbie, ive looked and lots of three letter acronyms, settings,parameters,measurements etc etc. how on earth do you use it without upsetting anything. jeff=bones1.
Perhaps if you tell us what you would like to do we can advise? I suggest you start by having a look at fault codes and live data - that's all safe stuff. As a founder of the "diagnostic for dummies" group, I have 2 pieces of advice. RTFM and when ever the lights on the dash start seriously flashing keep your eyes tight shut. What you see can't hurt you.
And just a little advice to add to that, when attempting anything that involves flashing ecu,s take a flask, or a Flack (just as useful !) something to eat a sleeping bag and a mobile phone because if it up and the doors lock you may be there for a while

At the top of the page under the picture of the D3 is a tab labelled "my posts" it takes you to all the threads in which you've posted or started.
