Lol four days in and the first issue comes up.... Bloody back windows shattered!? I'm guessing it was due to temperature change or something, had the same thing on a BMW years ago... Still, makes a change from the usual Disco faults!!
Anyone ever heard of such a thing happening due to 'natural causes'??2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

This was a common problem on the first Mercedes ML if left with the rear end facing the sun, rubbish make any way IMO It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I had the sunroof on my second D3 explode ...replaced under warranty
Anyway the way that tempered glass (which is what is in the side windows) is cured means that it is fairly temperature resistant ...so it is doubtful that any change in ambient temperature would make it happen ....it is more likely to be that it has had an attempt break by persons or it is possible to have been struck hard before and then cracked through stresses caused.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

What if it is a poor fit with insufficient tolerance for expansion? - something has got to give and it won't be the surround. It can when others can't,
