I suppose it isn't the number of owners that counts, but the type and why they sold it on.

It could've had 10 owners for all I care so long as each owner has looked after it and they ain't getting shot of it because it's a dog.
My last D4 only had one owner, it was an absolute dog, bought with blinkers on. I then found out the previous owner was from the community.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

^ + 1. If there is any chance to get hold of the details of the previous owner through V5 and get in touch that might help explain why at least they offloaded.
In my opinion NO
The last owner could be the pillock that drives the D3 & doesn't maintain it...missing the vital things like oil checks & changes, belts etc.
If someone hit mine.....9 years old:
All services done....on the button
All recalls done
All flagged up work don
Car cosmetically like new
Yes it may have cost.....but my D3 isn't knackered & neglected....if it had to last a number more years should be ok..
You cat reverse time & jobs not doneBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

True that a single owner car can be as bad as a three owner, and I get the argument that a sports car, for example will go through many owners when the running costs suddenly dawn on them.
'That' D3 I owned was one owner and I can just imagine now the owner knowingly selling it back to LR with the electrical fault.
Other than that fault it was spotless.
Where do you get a good warranty outside of LR? Or in fact, are non-LR warranties better?
