Damp patch

The luggage cover on my D4 has developed a water stain in the middle which implies water is getting in somewhere. However, I cannot see any water marks around the rear sunroof or tailgate. Really weird. Any ideas before I resort to the hosepipe method?

It was the high level rear light on mine. Needed to be removed, replaced and bonded in. Was done under warranty at the time.

Yes, that was the first thing they tried on mine but it still leaked into the car through the internal boot light fitting. They then changed the gasket under the shark fin and that cured the leak.

I'd try that first as it's easier.

Check the grommets for the cables to the upper tailgate (roof side) as well. I disturbed one of mine when fitting some lights to the tailgate. Thumbs Up
