465 head unit usual CD error press eject etc
Need to get my cd player fixed, I've tried removing the fuse and holding down the eject button but nothing works, the head unit just makes a noise like its trying to eject the cd's but nothing happens.
Has anyone removed and stripped one of these head units apart to get the CD's out and see if this can be fixed ???Discovery 3 2007 HSE
Hi, I can't say I have but the reason for replying is that I've just bought a D3 with a 6CD - 465 unit which works fine but the display is cracked so badly you can't read anything.
The most annoying part is that I need the display as it seems that's the only way to set the dashboard clock!
Anyway I am trying to source the display only but it's proving difficult so I thought we might be able to help each other out if a complete unit comes up (we split the cost so you can have the main unit & I have the display) I'll let you know if I find one.
Thanks
Macko

I just got a replacement display from http://www.caraudiorepairs.co.uk who split a 6cd-465. He had a complete unit (which he split the display from for me) & was very helpful. I
can now see the correct time on the dash......hurray
