You need that thing you have in the pic MCDear.. it aids the engine to heat up faster.. Go to your local Artic Trucks dealer and ask em for help to install a remote start kit. They did help a friend of mine here in Norway installing this. and a soft nudgebar with auxhillary drivin lamps.
You guys from Iceland are allways kind and helpfull. There are 3 familys from Iceland living close by me. and they show up whith awesome gear on vehicles, when driving in the fields in winters time..
:censored: loads of light and winches and remote control on every possible things..
You see the smal exhaust muffler, this should be pretty hot when its running. start the engine when cold, wait 2 mins and check the temp and liisten for a roaring sound.. you cant miss it if it works ok

There will also be visible smoke at the front left corner, also a very burnt diesels smell. In my humble experience they have often just locked out from a bad start because of low fuel level in the tank, so a quick read of the codes and a reset usually gets it going again. Fingers xed.

Yeah Icelanders love all the gadgets n´stuff related to the jeeps. Arctic Trucks are pioneers when it comes to offroad drivingand modding. They made some crazy stuff to Toyota´s and a unckle of mine works in their Dubai office.
