Will not start.... Low fuel pressure.. Discovery 3 2006 2.7

Engine was running very lumpy on tick over,changed filter then cut out completely driving along...wouldn't start but did on easy start??..... Plug in and come up low fuel pressure....took pump of got checked was fine.. Put pump back in.back were I started? Any help be brilliant thank you

Do you have fuel comming out of the valve in the engine bay? looks like a normal tire valve? should have a black cap on it.

Yes have fuel there,unable to check pressure as engine not running but seems to push it out well? Thank you

You don't need the engine running to check the pump pressure. Either use the prime on key-turn or provide power to the pump wiring.

I'd probably follow my guide on testing the low pressure pump. I may even follow the guide on glow plug diagnostics too, just in case. I would also check the engine sensor data and battery health along the way.

Obviously not dead! But if the battery wasn't at full potential (voltage) would it put a fault on Thule system resulting in not starting?
