Tree Slider Question
So, fitted Tree Sliders last week, ones from Shire Fabrication. Really happy with them, only been sitting in my garage for over a year
Wondered what the consensus was on grip tape, not sure how long the paint will last?
Anybody use it, think Terrafirma sell it.

My sliders have always been bare. Had them zinc galved and re-powder coated last year, I'll be getting them line-x'd next but this last coating I had done looks like it's going to last a long time yet.

Measure up what you need, i have a roll here not being used, cover postage & you can have with pleasure if that suits. When fitting it make sure you have more to the inner of the tube (not down the outer edge) - it saves your shins etcPaul.

I've got the grip tape on my Prospeed sliders.
They do exactly what they're supposed to, but.... they shred anything soft that comes into contact with them - including bare legs (not necessarily a problem in Scotland) or women's tights/stockings....
Unless you're wearing trousers or jeans, you need to get in the habit of stepping clear of them when you get out of the car. Got a few scrapes on my calves last summer!1981 Unimog U1300L (ex German Army vehicle
