I have a 2014 Discovery 4 HSE, leather seats, many years ago, i had a car with leather seats,
one could always smell the leather, when you opened the door
Question why can't i smell the leather on mine, and not just on mine, even more expensive cars
you still can't smell the leather?

Half of it isn't leather and its the way the leather is produced. You can use Gliptone to give it the proper leather smell. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

in my D3 the leather smell was quite strong. I quite liked it but my kids always complained that my car was "smelly" and it made them feel sick on long journeys. 
My D4 is virtually smell free (from the leather at least  ) and the kids love it ! Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap

Easy to apply, keeps seats in good nick and smells good

Last lot I bought was about 3 years ago, so lasts well on a car with 7 leather seats

That's an interesting tip.
Mine came with a very strong smell of leather, which we enjoyed, but it won't last for long. I'll look to buy some of that! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
