Clips
Does anyone know if the clips that hold the front end of the plastic/rubber strip that runs from just above the windscreen to under the roof rails are available separately, or do you have to buy the whole car to go with it?
The one on the nearside has broken allowing the front of the strip to lift.
Thanks.

No, I'm afraid not. It looks like a long white thing, but unfortunately it dropped out in bits.
The yellow ones look like what I have lost from the D-pillar when the super-powerfull load space cover caught in the edge!A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. I now have a bag of ten of these! Unfortunately I damaged the trim piece trying to get the "fir tree stud" out of the centre, so new one on order which comes with new clips apparently!

Has anyone a photo of where these trims fit? - I'm a little confused.... do the clips only apply to full length roof rails? (which I have) ..... just out of interest really.... 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

Hi Dannyson,
On my car the clips are at each end of the rubber/plastic covered trim that leads down a roof channel from the front of the rails where roof bars fit (mine are the standard length ones) to the top edge of the windscreen. Having the roof rails means that the insert is the shorter of the two. If you dont have roof rails, I believe that the trim runs from front to back and you need more of the clips.

I have just purchased these for the trim on the roof that is where the extended roof rails would fit.
