Damaged positive terminal UPDATE (FIXED WITH MY BODGE JOB)
I noticed my positive terminal on th battery is cracked and about ready to break, so I phoned land rover for a price and as it is joined to the main cable it's nearly £200, still picking myself up of the floor.
Anybody had this problem and how did u fix (is there a cheaper alternative)
First I got a cheap terminal off eBay £3 and drilled my original one so I could bolt new one to old one.
End of original damaged terminal
My bobge job

Depending on the bits needed perhaps buy a cheaper negative cable and use if for parts?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

I snapped the t-bolt and got the same. Need new cable. I just ground a standard m6 bolt down, so follow Robbie's advice.

Re lug the cable and put a different positive terminal on from a place that sells hgv parts or ebay.
