Lack of power below 2000rpm when cold
Hi all I've got a problem with my 06 d3! There is very sluggish acceleration until it gets to 2000rpm then it pulls away like a train! It only has this problem until the engine is fully up to temperature! Could it be the turbo actuator linkage? Thanks darrenD3 x2 now gone

Didn't I read somewhere on here that the ECU restricts initial performance when the engine is cold?

If it weren't possible to blank duff valves most wouldn't bother.

Well after a few months of not getting around to it I've finally blanked my egr's! So a big thanks to Disco_Mikey for diagnosing the problem and member SWR for encouraging me to do it myself my disco is now back to full power!
So don't worry mikey I don't want to destroy you and there's definitely no need to do one! D3 x2 now gone
