Disco 3 sat Nav
Hi I've just bought a discovery 3 without a sat Nav disc in so I bought one of ebay from 2009/10. But the only way I can select where I want to go is by selecting from a map. The postcode address or poi finder won't work. Could this be because I need a newer disc or an older one. Where Can I find this out. Both the system and screen seem to be ok.

Have a search on here about the "Belgium" issue. It sounds like that is your problem.

Hi it seems to be a genuine disc. No blue tint to it on the underside. When you go to destination entry. You 6 squares to choose from. Post code poi and address I think are the ones not working when I go to select from map it does show uk. It just takes a long time to find where I want to go.

I would try and get hold of a genuine 2012 disc first as it seems a software problem and go from there
I had exactly the same. Firstly the postcode entry stopped working, then others, then route calculations became slower and slower, and voice control was lost.

New disc seems to of worked. Though I've not tried voice control yet.
