| Rear cam install on satnav secret menu ERROR...NOT FITTED... |

Hello
i have a 2009 disco3 and i.m triyng to install a rear cam directly to the sat nav, using the secret menu and the 753 code.
i pluged the smb in the rear socket and install the 12v power in the camara. But when i go to the secret menu it appears NOT FITTED.
is there a way to pass from not fitted to fitted our do i have a problem whit ma smb scart?
Please help and sorry for my bad writing i.m from portugal.

Don't think it will work without a giff unit or enabling the range rover screen  Discovery 3 se gone

Take out the screen and cut a yellow wire not the ideal solution as it can crash Bluetooth but it will make your camera come on every time you choose reverse you can search on here for sat nav screen mod Discovery 3 se gone

Thank.s i.m in rr mode no.
i put a swiths in the dashboard to alternate from rr mode and d3 mode.
I pluged a smb scrat in the tree plugs anda nothing apeears.
i went to the d3 mode in secret botton an continuies not fitted. 
The smb is linked to a camera so se signal is on always.
Is there a secret menu in rr mode?!

Where did you get the cable from it could be the cable or you may have a power supply issue Discovery 3 se gone

For testing i put a dvd player and put the smb in the green plug (tv) the dvd is my home dvd as is running the dvd. All i get in d3 secret mode is rain nothing else. 
In rr mode whit the same dvd player running the audio-video in thouch screen only apears radio, cd and aux.... no tv our dvd

sounds like a faulty cable to me or its not making a connection Discovery 3 se gone

Problem with the cam resolved.
Thank.s for all the help.
In the rr mode it doesn.t work because doesn.t apear tv icon but in secret mode of d3 the image is fine now.
In rr mode the screen is to dark. Do you now how to increse the bhraithness? And the on road info doesn.t show any values.
