D3 Jack Ok on a trailer ?

Bought a trailer a while back and will be taking it away with us. Can I assume that the D3 jack (which I know is meant to be rubbish) Ok to jack the trailer up should we get a flat ?

Trailer wont have any weight in in compared to the D3 but just interested if whether it would work if needed ? Rather not carry two jacks as low on space anyway.

Thanks

James

It's not an ideal shape due to the studded top plate, but I guess it could work.

Are you sure you need a jack for a small trailer? I never bother when removing the wheels off my IFW trailer.

I might take a piece of wood with a hole drilled into it for the studded bit. If the trailer is fully loaded with camping gear then i wont be able to lift it and swap the spare over. Am sure it will be fine. Thanks james

If you have a jocky wheel and props just use those - drop the rear props and wind down the wheel to lift the tyres clear.

Then the wood sounds good and don't forget an appropriate tool for the trailer lug nuts.
