How do you polish the roof?

Spent most of the day washing and polishing the caravan, any suggestions as to how I can polish the centre of the roof as I can only reach in so far standing on the step ladder.

As what Glynne says, some have even said they climb lightly on it, but I wouldn't chance, or try this....

I also read to put the nose slightly up, or down, so that the water runs off easier

I have cleaned the roof but can only reach in so far so there is a strip of about 2' the full length of the caravan that I can't reach to polish.

At 17 Stone, I'm the last person that will be able to climb on the roof of it or I'll end up falling through it Rolling with laughter

I have a Bessacarr caravan and the roof is strong enough to hold my weight when I do my yearly polish. I do use a large thick kneeling mat so I dont scuff the surface.

I always park it nose up so the rain runs off but where I park it the rain runs to the back and to the near side.

Get a garage with a tall door and a pitched roof. Sit on the joists and polish away. Laughing

That looks like our caravan - well apart from yours been clean Embarassed

Went to the storage place yesterday to see what we needed to restock it with before we go out in it again (Been very lax in getting out in it the last 12 months Rolling Eyes )

And the one side and front is a bit green - so we've booked it in for a clean where we store it - we have to do it, but they have all the hoses and ladders etc.

As for doing the roof - dunno, not done it yet!

Not sure about polishing, but to clean the roof, I found using the patio cleaner attachment on the Karcher was the easiest method !
