Electrical power failure
Car has had no battery issues at all.
Started fine, drove home, no warning lights, stopped car, got out, tried to lock it, wouldn't lock.
Put key in ignition, no power at all, nothing works.
Any ideas?

Need voltmeter on battery but sounds like the alternator has gone and taken the battery with it.
Or a battery terminal has come adrift - it does happen!Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

I have a rubbish voltmeter which seemed to say there was nothing in the battery at all!
Is that possible?
We only drove a couple of miles, can it happen that quickly?
