Just noticed the shark fin is at a funny angle. Any ideas how it attaches ? seems anchored at the back just the front where it can spin around. Did do a search to no avail. Thanks jk James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

I had a water leak into the back of my D3 a couple of years ago and LR said it was the shark fin but they said they stuck it back down but afraid no details how and what with but I would get it sorted sooner than later before you start getting puddles on the load space cover. IS it the main body of the fin thats loose ??.
They are bolted to the roof from inside 10mm if I remember and have a gasket between the fin and body to stop water ingress.
Undo plastic cover with light in , pull out plastic clips that hold roof lining up
Pull off / Prise off piller covers (just top bit if you can) allow roof lining to drop down
Then take off boot roof grab handles so no creases in roof lining .
Now pull down a little bit so loose enough for you to find bolt in roof section ,
And do up...
id undo enough to put some sealant under around bolt thread at top to stop any water just in case do it now take 2mins or risk it might leak and have to undo it all again

Mine is the panaramic glass roof. Did just see somewhere that they are stuck down with sticky tape. Thanks for suggestions James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

so not sure if the correct fix but cleaned underneath, put some double sided pads down and stuck it in place. Then put some silicon around the outside to minimise water getting under. Will see what happens ! James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.
