Eject sat nav disc

Hello discoees,
I've have got a bit of a problem. I can't seem to eject my sat nav disc. I'm assuming there is one in there. Cuz I can't get the new one in. Do I put ignition on or off. I've slid the lock button to unlock but nothing comes out. I didn't want to force the new disc in.
Any ideas???
Thanks

There's a lock/unlock slider and an eject button, I presume you've operated both?

I had a problem with mine. The eject mechanism should push the disc up and then forward and out. When mine wouldn't eject I checked it out. The disc was being pushed just a bit too high, probably less than a mil. but enough so that the leading edge caught inside the upper edge of the slot and stuck there.

I 'reloaded' the disc so that it sat back down again. I then got a bit of thin card, post card type stuff, and inserted the corner about an inch inside the slot, angled upwards, and operated the eject.

The leading edge of the disc just rose up and followed the underside of the card and out.

Yours may be a different problem but the above solved mine.

I've got nothing, unlocked then pressed eject and nothing. Not making noise or even trying to eject. Should I have the ignition on?

Still can't get it out!!!

Done a hard reset and still can't eject disc. Plus I sometimes can't get off of the warning screen on sat nav, the agree button doesn't work and won't go green. Any ideas.
