The P codes relate to EGR valve and fuel issues, in tank pump, HPFP, filter. The filter is the cheapest and easiest place to start.GAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics
And high pressure fuel pump is the most expensive place to end up, as I found out

have not seen any notes on recall.
my VIN is SALLAAA648A488364.
Do you think that the fuel issue goes together with the communication problem. My mechanic does not.
fuel filter changed not long ago. EGR valves changed

sorry for the dumb question here, but how do you decide whether you are affected looking at the range of VIN numbers as there are a combination of letters and numbers, which part of it should we compare to check if we have had or need this recall?

Have a modified ECU file from Bell which has worked fine many years.
Now i have returned to the original file, and presto... everything seems to be OK. Accelerate fine, no faultcodes.
Will ask Pete if he understans what is wrong.
Maybe someone else knows.
Anyway I have asked the mechanic to change fuel filter again. A lot of written in the news now that too much RME in the diesel causes a lot of problems.
