Airbag light

Why would my airbag light come on when I open the passenger door?
If I leave the door open and reset the light it comes back on straight away. If I close the door it doesn't come back on till I open it again???
Surely there's nothing airbag related within the door???

Ok, yeah, not sure I want to be fiddling with that Shocked

Might check the wiring before it goes into the door I guess.
