Fault Codes
hi all,alittle query to test your knowledge.Ive been experiencing problems with my 06 disco 3 it keeps going into limp home mode,the diagnostic comes up with code PO642,but we cant see what it refers to,has anyone come across this one before or have an idea where I can possibly check it? Without me having to go to main dealers.Ive tried changing brakelight switch and had EGR valves blanked off today
Don't know what sensor this refers to. I'm assuming something like the MAF or boost pressure/temp?

thankyou for your replies,ive disconnected the EGR valve connectors and it appears to have sorted my problem,no warning lights visible and no more limphome mode touch wood. It would appear that one or both of the EGR valves were jammed and still trying to draw current to operate them causing dash lights to appear,plus HDC not working,suspension lowered itself,limited gears available[1 gear its an auto]parkbrake fault.I hope this helps anyone else who may have or is experiencing similar problems
