Clever but the upright is not man enough for repeated use, the stress on the bottom pivot bolt must be enormous as its takes the load then stops the car rolling backwards.

They must have faith in it if they have actually got a worldwide patent like its says as that would cost £20,000+.

It wouldn't last very long, especially with the weight of a D3. It's of little use for changing a flat tyre. The lift range looks insufficient to get a fully inflated tyre on, once the flat once is off the ground. Pretty pointless really.Freelander SE 2005 Auto.

Couple of things to bear in mind, 1 it looks to be for live beam axled vehicles only, 2 not sure how it would work on tarmac as nowt to stop it running away as you put some load onto it.

I would never buy one, that's for sure. Considering my luck, it would slip off and crash something expensive. Makes you wonder though, given it is a US based company that they would want to be sure it works as intendedRLD Sump Guard
