Your thoughts on a D3 Remap

It's probably been topical previously but would be good to hear users thoughts on a Remap.
Mpg?
Bhp?
Overall drive post Remap?

Anyone recommend someone in the North West?

been there - done that - Use BAS (site sponsor).

Forget MPG - a lot of places state better MPG, never happens - more BHP/Torque, yes, and this makes the D3 a much nicer car to drive, as its more responsive.

Don't think, do!! Your only problem is which one to pic. Don't expect any increase in mpg but it deffo makes the car so much better to drive. Thumbs Up

I had an autologic remap, brilliant! It will generally increase your MPG BUT you will use it and so will normally return around about the same as now but your grin will be miles bigger.

Check with insurers, if you keep below a certain % power increase (I think Privilige is around 25%) then there is no increase to your premium, others will be different.

Cheers all.

Do the gears feel more responsive and smoother? I've started doing the 2 stroke oil trick on fill ups but don't notice a difference.

What does Flack do re mapping?

Ah, remapping

Make your your clutch/Autobox is in good condition

I have given my car to my customers, some with well known maps, and some not so well known, and everyone always comments on how much faster mine is

A normal map will be fine for 99% of people, however, I jump into one that has been mapped, and it's just not the same Neutral

I took my bas remap off the other week, just to see if there was any difference, as it didn't feel as quick.
I put it back on 5 minutes later Thumbs Up

Potentially silly question but how would I know if my car has already been mapped?
Its no slouch but I have been driving a def 90 for 4 years so anything seems fast!
