Blackvue On & Off Road Drives
Well there wasn't a file for Blackvue drives, [just one for incidents] so thought this thread might be handy to post some of your [incident free] drives.
This was our first day of snow for this coming winter in the North York Moors .....
..... and it's only 27th October

Reckon we're in for a long cold one!
This was a nice small legal lane only a couple of minutes & miles from the above, and what a change in weather.
&feature=youtu.be
edited to add: and this is how it was at the top of the moor, not really worth recording as it all looks the same
...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

Good idea Ron
Here are a few from me, filmed this weekend on my trip down to Salisbury, Hampshire and Berkeshire in Betsy.
This one is interesting, Youtube told me it was shaky, and I let it 'fix' it. It has the effect of making the scenery smooth, and makes the car move! Very clever considering the camera is fixed to the windscreen.

I had no idea the images from these things could be so clear. The image stabilisation software on youtube is pretty impressive too.

Personally I'm not so sure on the YT stabilisation.
Yes it might hold the video steady, but it don't half wobble the D4 around.
If you look at the beginning of my second clip [below], you'll see the bonnet wobbling about like a big white blancmange.

The BV is fixed to the screen, so all body movement should be consistent.
One would think I was a wobblehead and wearing the BV. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Personally, I think it smooths Betsy out a lot, you simply don't get the spine crushing sensations that every bump provides My mate summed it up quite accurately when he likened it to ejecting from an aircraft every few seconds.
I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this thing. I reckon we should get some movies of driving down some well known roads, eg, I drove over Holme Moss, onto Woodhead Pass today, the scenery this evening with the sunset was stunning, sadly I forgot to plug the BV in
Tomorrow, I'm of to somewhere near Scarborough, so who fancies A64 "The Movie"
