I have had a Bell Auto Services (BAS) tuning box for 50k miles.
Pete Bell, a site sponsor, is very supportive, and his remap has given me just what I wanted, a better torque curve, more performance, but without compromising MPG.

Yes a BAS box should be fine, from what I know its not a tuning box but a proper remap, boxes that try to trick the ECU into doing something else are not remaps.
I good remap is tuned to suit your car and what you need from it. Dale
