Radio and sat nav switch on / off every 20 secs or so. |
|
Have spent ages searching but no one seems to have an answer. I spent a while going through hidden menu ( had to repeat 20 times to get through to the right bit in between switching off ) and manual search gave a code of OB 41. Does this refer to wire colour and connection??? Read somewhere about the clicking I can hear, maybe the relay which is R249 for the audio stuff, do you buy new ones of these?
Any help would be much appreciated , I hate these silly issues , and would be great to get sat nav and radio working again for more than 20 secs at a time!!!.

Our garage said sat nav radio problem was a difficult one to trace and could take ages and cost lots. Can't seem to find anything on the OB41 code that I retrieved from the manual check on sat nav hidden menu.
Had a new key and had them reprogrammed about 18 months ago after losing one of them so wondering if the hard reset has now nullified the reprogramming, so this will cost me the £45 to have them redone I' m guessing, unless anyone knows how to do this ??? without the magic box that they used at the key place.
Feeling like researching what else will pull our tin can right now although will need some more pennies !!!

We followed instructions to the letter, so hopefully did it correctly. I even made blue tack caps to cover the battery terminals and everything.

Hi Dawn
my radio/sat nav started doing exactly what you described yesterday
Did you get it fixed?
Any clue as to where to start fault finding will be useful Cheers, Dave in Essex
